4.2 Assembly of position measuring system WSM
The position measuring system is delivered in disassembled state
and must be assembled as described in the following figure:

The bolting surfaces must be clean and undamaged and the
support surface for the magnetic tape must be free of dirt and
grease.
Ø
Bolt the sensor bracket (5) to the base body using cylindrical
screws (4).
Ø
Bond the magnetic tape (1) flush with the outer edge of the
module to the base body (self-adhesive) as in the Figure.
Ø
Bolt the magnetic sensor (3) to the sensor bracket (5) using
cylindrical screws (2).and set the clearance from the reading
head to the magnetic tape (A).
