The operating and maintenance personnel re
sponsible for the machine must ensure that no
one can enter the machine’s danger zone during
operation or maintenance work!

prohibited! Always eat in break rooms or can
teen areas!
After completing the work, thoroughly clean
yourself!
Safety zone:
A dead man's switch [1, Fig. A] is located on the
handle, with which the machine can be stopped
against possible dangers. The machine runs
when the operator holds the dead man's switch
[1] in closed position. The machine is stopped
by releasing the dead man's switch [1].
If the operator inadvertently loses control of the
handle or releases the dead man's switch [1],
the motor [9] stops, but the handle continues to
rotate with the residual torque of the machine by
a ¾ turn (see Fig. B).
3 Operation
Observe the safety instructions in Chapter 2.
Always wear hearing protection when the
machine is in operation!
Wear safety shoes!
Risk of injury due to high electrical voltage!
Do not touch the ignition cable and spark plug
cover!
Risk of injury due to high temperature on motor!
These parts may still be hot after operation.
Additional risk of injury from hot exhaust parts
and hot exhaust air!
3.1 Starting up the machine
Observe the safety instructions in Chapter 2.
A visual inspection of the machine must be car
ried out before starting up the machine.
Particular attention should be paid to damaged
or loose components, and wear.
Suffocation and poisoning hazard from toxic
exhausts!
Machines with combustion engines may not be
operated in closed rooms or in ground
depressions without sufficient supply of fresh
air.
