4 Maintenance
Observe the safety instructions in Chapter 2!
Maintenance work may only be performed by
trained specialists! They must be familiar with
the dangers associated with such work, protect
themselves and avoid danger!
When working on the machine (set‐up, mainte
nance, service, repair, cleaning, etc.), the power
supply of the machine has to be disconnected
from the mains
(Pull the power plug from the socket)!
Perform cleaning and maintenance work in ac
cordance with the operating manual and check
the safety equipment for completeness and
functionality!
4.1 Adjusting the guide handle

Hold the guide handle [4, Fig. A].
2.
Step on the release pedal [7, Fig. A].
The guide handle is unlocked.
3.
Swivel the guide handle into the desired posi
tion.

Free the release pedal.
The guide handle clicks into place and is locked.
4.2 Tilting the machine
The vertical position of the guide handle is in
tended for changing the polishing disk, mainte
nance and transport.
Before tilting the machine, always make sure
that it is on an even, level floor surface!
1.
Pull the power plug [11, Fig. A] from the socket.
2.
Swivel and lock the guide handle [4, Fig. A] into
vertical position

3.
Tilt the machine backwards and place it on the
floor using the guide handle.
4.3 Replacing the polishing disk
There are many different polishing disks available
from the manufacturer that are tailored to the ma
chine.
The consistency of the surface to be treated de
termines the type or composition of the polishing disk
to be used.
Do not use any tools to replace the polishing disk!

Tilt the machine (

The fixing plate has a left‐hand thread!
3.
Turn the fixing plate [20] clockwise (—) and
remove it.
4.
Remove the polishing disk [19].
5.
Press the new polishing disk centrally onto the
drive plate [18].
6.
Tighten the fixing plate by turning it anti‐clock
wise (+).
7.
Set the machine upright.
5 Acceptance and transportation
Observe the safety instructions in Chapter 2!
5.1 Machine acceptance
The machine is supplied in a complete and packaged
condition from the manufacturer.
1.
Unpack machine and check the enclosed
delivery slip to make sure all parts are delivered.
2.
In case of damage, contact the transport com
pany promptly!
3.
If necessary, report any problems to the manu
facturer immediately!
Complaints at a later date cannot be acknowled
ged!
