and its
SCHWINN MOTOR SCOOTERS™
brand
(“SCHWINN”)
warrant each new motorcycle that includes
as standard equipment a headlight, taillight and stoplight:
(a) is designed, built and equipped so as to conform at the time of initial retail purchase with all applicable regulations of the
United States Environmental Protection Agency (“US EPA”); and:
(b) is free from defects in material and workmanship which would cause such motorcycle to fail to conform with applicable
regulations of the US EPA, for a period of five (5) years and, depending on engine displacement:
0-169cc: 12,000km (7,456 miles)
170-279cc: 18,000km (11,185 miles)
280cc and greater: 30,000km (18,641 miles)
This warranty time and mileage period shall begin on the date the motorcycle is delivered to the initial retail purchaser, or on the
date the motorcycle is first placed in service as a demonstrator, rental, lease, or company motorcycle prior to retail sale.
1). COVERAGE. Warranty defects shall be remedied during customary business hours at any authorized

motorcycle
dealer located within the United States in compliance with the Clean Air Act and applicable regulations of the US EPA. Any part or
parts replaced under this warranty shall become the property of
SCHWINN
.
2). OWNERS OBLIGATIONS. The following obligations must be fulfilled by the owner to maintain the validity of the
SCHWINN
Emission Control Systems Warranty:
(a) Owner must deliver the motorcycle to an authorized
SCHWINN
motorcycle dealer or equally qualified service facility for
inspection, maintenance services and adjustments according to the Periodic Maintenance chart provided as part of or supplement
to the owners guide. Optionally, the Owner may perform this maintenance only if it is within the scope of the Owner’s technical
and practical ability, keeping in mind some maintenance operations may require special tools or technical expertise beyond the
scope of the average Owner. In any event, the inspection, maintenance and adjustments are to be performed at the owner’s
expense.
THE EXPRESS WARRANTIES AS CONTAINED HEREIN ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS
OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES THAT EXTEND BEYOND THE DESCRIPTION IN THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.
THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS. YOU MAY HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH MAY VARY FROM STATE
TO STATE.
Pacific Cycle extends the following LIMITED WARRANTY to the original purchaser of the Schwinn® scooter:
Warranty coverage is limited to the original purchaser for personal non-commercial use only and is not assignable or transferable.
Limited Warranty –
Pacific Cycle, at its option, may replace, at no charge, any part found to be defective in material or
workmanship for a period of up to two years from the date of original purchase. In addition, Pacific Cycle, at its option, may
authorize any Schwinn Motor Scooter dealer to repair or replace the defective part, for no labor charge, for up to one year from
the date of original purchase. Parts used in warranty repairs will be warranted for the balance of the product’s warranty period.
All parts replaced under warranty become the property of Pacific Cycle.
Exceptions, Exclusions, and Conditions – Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear (tires, brake pads, drive belts, etc),
abuse, misuse, alteration or modification of the equipment, improper maintenance or repair, improper assembly, accident,
personal injury or other damage resulting from use of the equipment, or conditions or occurrences beyond the control of Pacific
Cycle including damage from transportation, fire, flood, or other acts of nature. Pacific Cycle is not responsible for economic loss,
lost profits, inconvenience, loss or damage to personal property, direct, indirect, or consequential damages. Failure to follow the
maintenance schedule voids all warranties.
The obligation of Pacific Cycle under this warranty is limited solely to the repair or replacement of parts covered by this warranty.
Any modification to the scooter, including the use of performance parts, voids all warranties. All other costs including shipping for
warranty repairs and transportation to and from an authorized Schwinn Motor Scooter dealer are the obligation of the owner.
Pacific Cycle is not responsible for any damage incurred during transport. Any
questions should be directed to Customer Service and must include: model number, date of purchase, name of store where
purchased and original sales receipt or proof of purchase.
