the efficiency of the mechanical protections (horizontally-pivoted protection, guards, etc., see §2.7) and the good
state of the plates, especially those with a yellow background.
Every 2 months or every 200 brakes (about) check the motor braking times (maximum stopping time is 10
seconds). With a heavier tool mountable as per the table (§ 4.1), in case of adjustment of the brake unit, consult
Chapter 19 of the manual.
Any faults found during these inspections must promptly be reported to the person in charge who will
shut down the machine and call technical service.

REMOVAL - STORAGE - DEMOLITION
For machine removal, disconnect it from the electric and pneumatic systems. Follow the instructions in
paragraphs 2-1, 2-2 and 2-3.
In case of extended inactivity of the machine, disconnect it from the electrical and pneumatic system. Thoroughly
clean it as already described for ordinary cleaning and cover the work and sliding tables and the tool holder
spindles with antirust protection. Do not store the machine in humid environments and protect it from
atmospheric agents.
The machine is constructed in non-toxic unharmful materials. In case of demolition, separate the ferrous material
from the plastic materials and send them to the respective scrap yards.

EMERGENCY CONDITIONS
In case of flooding of the room where the machine is housed, immediately disconnect the electrical power supply.
Before starting work, have the machine checked by a specialised technician.
In case of fire, immediately disconnect the electrical power supply and intervene using suitable fire extinguishers
directing the jets at the base of the flames. Even if the machine has suffered no apparent damage, before restarting
work have the machine checked by a specialised technician.
A free space without obstructions must be provided around the machine, as already described in Chapter 1.10
to allow fast escape in case of danger.
This machine must not be operated in explosive environments.
