GETTING ACQUAINTED

BATTERY CHARGING

The battery is not charged at the factory. You must charge it before using the equipment.

After purchase or for a long time without using (more than 2 months) the battery can not 

have its normal capacity when charging. After charging 2-3 times the battery will have its full 

capacity.

Plug the charger into an AC outlet. Connect the USB cable to the USB connector of the device. 

The [PTT] button will light purple. When the battery is charged, the [PTT] button will turn 

blue. If you charge with the equipment stopped (recommended), pressing [PTT] will show the 

battery charge level.

NOTE

Do not recharge the battery if it is already fully charged. It could damage it and reduce its life.

It is advisable to charge the battery with the equipment turned off. If the equipment is running 

it can interfere with the correct battery charge.

If the usage time of the equipment does not increase with the battery charged, it indicates that 

the battery life has expired and you must replace it with a new one.

INSTALL / REMOVE THE BATTERY

To install the battery, fit it at the bottom of the body of the equipment and press on the top. 

When the buckle fits you will hear a “click” indicating that the battery has been properly fitted 

and secured.

To remove the battery, first turn off the computer. Then press the buckle down and remove the 

battery back.

The supplied belt clip can be mounted to make it easier to carry.

Use the PC programming software to configure the equipment.
