TO DRIVE
Scoozy has 2 speed settings: D and S.
Choose a suitable speed setting for every situation:
Speed setting D: Indoors, in stores and on the sidewalk.
Speed setting S: On roads and cycle paths.
The maximum speed in D is 6 km / h and in S 15 km / h. It is
possible to adjust the maximum speeds to personal ones
preferred. Go to ‘Settings’ (see page 25).
Select the desired setting with the D (2H) and S (2I) buttons.
The LED Indicator (2G) will light up above the button of the
selected setting and in the lower right corner of your screen
a D or S can be read.
In S, the lighting comes on automatically and the brake lights turn
on active.
BRAKES
Scoozy has 5 ways to stop:
1.
Move the Joystick to the middle position;
This allows you to quietly roll out to 0 km / h. You do not always
get the minimum braking distance specified in EN 12184.
2. Pull the joystick back;
As a result, Scoozy brakes proportionally to 100% braking power
3. Press the Emergency Stop (2F);
As a result, Scoozy brakes with 100% braking power to 0.
4. Press the Stop button (2B);
This button gives a similar effect as the
Emergency stop.
5. Scoozy in standby sets with the on / off switch (2C);
This switch has a similar effect as the
Emergency stop.
In the event of a major system malfunction, Scoozy will
engage mechanical fail-safe brake. This is what makes Scoozy
safe to a halt in any situation.
