Checking the Inlet
Filter
This section covers checking the inlet filter.
The operator should check the inlet filter located on top of the compressor after
prolonged use (approximately 100 hours of operation in normal conditions, or 50
hours if operating in dusty or dirty environments). See
. To change the filter:

Loosen the wing nuts to open the filter housing.

Remove the cover and inspect the element for excessive build up of dirt and
particles.
3
Install a new element as needed and replace the cover.

Purification Filters
This section covers checking the purification filters.
The purification filters should be checked to ensure they are in good operating
conditions. They should be replaced as needed by Scott trained and certificated
service technician. See
