GENERAL INTRODUCTION

BEFORE EVERY RIDE

SAFETY

Please ensure your SCOTT Walker is completely assembled by an authorized
SCOTT dealer.

This is very important for optimum performance and safety.

This SCOTT Walker meets the standards of European Standard EN 71.

Traffic laws demand that one checks all functions that concern safety.

Therefore, before every ride, check the air pressure of the tires (shown on the
sidewall of the tire) and ensure the nuts of the wheels are tightened properly.

Also make sure that the handlebar/stem and the seatpost/saddle are properly
bolted.

Ensure the seat height is set so that when your child is sitting on the saddle, they can
reach the ground with both feet.

The seat height can be adjusted using a 5mm allen key and by following these steps:

1.  Loosen the seat post clamp bolt counterclockwise

2. Adjust the seat to the required height according to the need (upper or lower)

3. Align the saddle

4. Tighten the clamp bolt clockwise with a maximum torque of 5Nm/44 in/lbs

Please always respect the minimum insert depth shown on the seatpost and do

not pull out any further as this can loosen the seat post and cause injuries.

Ensure that your child can reach the handlebar easily.

The handlebar/stem height should be adjusted so that when your child is sitting on
the Walker, they can reach the handlebar easily.

The handlebar/stem height can be adjusted using a 13mm wrench key and by
following these steps:

1.  Loosen the stem bolt counterclockwise

2. Adjust the handlebar/stem to the required height

3. Align the handlebar/stem

4. Tighten the stem bolt clockwise with a maximum torque of 10Nm/88 in/lbs

Please always respect the minimum insert depth shown on the stem and do not

pull out any further as this can loosen the stem and cause injuries.

MAKE SURE TO WEAR

SAFETY EQUIPMENT!

DO NOT USE IN PUBLIC TRAFFIC!

The

minimum age

for a child to use this Walker is

1 year old

The

maximum load

 for a SCOTT Walker is

25kg/55lbs

.

Your child

must be supervised at all times

 while riding the SCOTT Walker.

Your child must be instructed on how to use the SCOTT Walker in the right way and
be made aware of any possible dangers.

This SCOTT Walker should be used with caution since skills are required to avoid falls
or collisions causing injury to the user or third parties.

This SCOTT Walker shall only be used in a playground or similar safe area.

Do not use the SCOTT Walker in traffic, public roads, near stairs, steep descents or
areas with open water (pools, ponds, etc).

Please make sure that your child wears clothing that is highly visible (bright colors,
reflective details or fabrics, etc) and wears shoes that protect the foot and toes.

Gloves and knee/elbow protectors will also help to avoid bruises or injuries.

The best way to avoid head injuries is to wear a helmet that fits.

The helmet should meet safety standard EN1078 and should have a CE label or
should match or exceed the national standards of your country. Choosing bright
colors will help to improve visibility and safety. Wearing such a helmet should be a
matter of course for all cyclists or children using bikes or Walkers.

In addition, the best way to instruct a child is to lead by example. So make sure you
follow basic safety rules and have fun!
