Fill the water tank half full with freshwater and pour the
mixture into the water tank. Top o
ff
the tank.

Activate the system and allow the water to run for about one
minute at each faucet. Let the treated water stand for 4-6 hours.
•
Drain the system by pumping it dry and flush with several
tank fills of freshwater.
•
The system should now be sanitized and can be filled with
freshwater. If the chlorine smell is still strong, it should be flushed
several more times with freshwater.
THE BATTERIES MUST BE PROPERLY CHARGED. OPERATING THE FRESH
WATER PUMP FROM A BATTERY WITH A LOW CHARGE MAY LEAD TO A
PUMP FAILURE.
THE FRESH WATER SYSTEM MUST BE PROPERLY WINTERIZED PRIOR TO WINTER LAY-UP.

THE WASHDOWN SWITCH SHOULD BE PLACED IN THE “OFF” POSITION WHENEVER
LEAVING THE BOAT UNATTENDED OR WHEN THE WASHDOWN SYSTEM IS NOT IN USE.
