Cylinder installation and test
1.
Ensure locking system in
“unlock” position.
2.
Insert cylinder (B direction) with slot
“C”
vertical.
3.
Slot part of the cylinder should be positioned
on the interior apartment side.
4.
Tighten the cylinder screw
“A”.
5.
Cylinder face should be at least 4 mm inside
from the interior door surface
”D”.
Otherwise, the cylinder is not compatible for
this installation.
Test of cylinder installation
1.
Enter a flat screwdriver in slot
“c” and rotate one turn
in lock direction. Locking mechanism should be fully
locked when the slot is vertical.
2.
Use screwdriver to unlock. Check that in time that slot
is vertical, Lock is in
“Unlock” position and bolts are
completely inside the door.
3.
Enter mechanical key and rotate the cylinder to lock
position.
4.
Extract the key.
5.
Verify that key exits easily and the slot should be
about vertically.
6.
Make same operation (1
– 2) but to unlock.
7.
Check (3) is ok and locking bolts are completely inside
the door.
