NOTICE
Failure to flush the sys-
tem, when necessary, will severe-
ly damage engine(s) intercooler
and/or exhaust system. Make sure
engine(s) operates during entire
procedure.
WARNING
Perform these operations in a well
ventilated area. Certain compo-
nents in the engine compartment
may be very hot. Direct contact
may result in skin burn. Do not
touch ant electrical part or jet
pump area when engine is run-
ning.
WARNING
When operating the engines while
the boat is out of the water, the
heat exchangers become very hot.
Avoid any contact with heat ex-
changers as burns may occur.
Connect a garden hose to connector
located at the rear of boat on jet pump
support.
Do not open water tap yet.
NOTE:
The optional flushing connec-
tor adapter (P/N 295 500 473) can be
used with a quick connect adapter to
ease garden hose installation.

To flush the exhaust systems, start
each engine
then
immediately open
the water tap.
NOTICE
Always start each engine
before opening the water tap. Open
water tap immediately after each
engine is started to prevent over-
heating.
NOTICE
Never run engines with-
out supplying water to the exhaust
systems when boat is out of water.
Run each engine about 20 seconds at a
fast idle between 4000 - 5000 RPM.
NOTICE
Never run engines longer
than 5 minutes. Drive line seals have
no cooling when the boat is out of
water.
Ensure water flows out of jet pumps
while flushing. Otherwise, refer to an
authorized Sea-Doo Sport Boats dealer
for servicing.
Close the water tap, then stop the en-
gine.
NOTICE
Always close the water
tap before stopping the engine.
Disconnect the garden hose.
NOTICE
Remove flushing adapter
after operation (if used).
