OPERATION

Seal ‘n Lock System Corporation’s Cordless Pail Pump Spray System utilizes the popular SHURflo® pump
technology and DeWalt® Rechargeable 20 Volt Batteries. It is designed for our sealer (not solvent based sealers)
as it has no metals in the path through the pump containing Viton® Valves and Santoprene® Diaphragms.

CAUTION: NOT

for

use with Acetone

, Acetone based materials or Acids. Acetone is highly

flammable and it will quickly disintegrate the Viton Seals and void the product warranty.  We
do not recommend using any solvent based sealers or Efflorescence Remover as there could
be contamination with sealers and may explode.

1.  Attach wand to spray handle and tighten.
2.  Set the power switch to the off position.
3.  Remove the lid from the pail, place sprayer on top and snap lid securely on to the pail.
4.  Insert the two 20 Volt DeWalt® batteries into the battery ports.  Make sure that you insert the batteries

into the ports as straight as you can without bending the contacts causing electrical damage to the pump.

5.  Turn on the power switch and start spraying.
6.  If you are using a Pail Cart, place pail in Cart, place pail pump on pail and snap lid onto pail.

The pump is self priming and will not be damaged by running dry for short periods of time. Priming time will vary
depending on the fluid viscosity and temperature. The pump is intended for continuous or intermittent duty when
the proper operating criteria are met.

NOTE:

“Intermittent Duty” is defined as; operated and/or frequently started within a period of time that would

cause the motor to reach its maximum thermal limits. Once the maximum thermal limit is obtained, a thermal
breaker switch will interrupt operation until the motor cools down to normal operating temperature, then it will
automatically reset and resume operation which may take up to ½ hour.

Pump may cycle on and off at varying intervals depending on the viscosity and temperature of the material bring
sprayed.

CAUTION

: If the thermal switch is tripped from overheating, it will reset and start operating

without warning.

To prevent accidental spraying, either set the power switch to off or make sure the spray

handle valve is not open.

During temperatures over 90° F place a damp towel over the Pail Pump to
prevent pump from overheating.

If unsure about clean out call technical support for in-depth clean out instructions when using
our Super Wet 2 Part Urethane - 813-545-1200.

Recommended storage temperature is 70° to prevent freezing.

When not in use, keep the pump on its side so you don’t bend or kink the suction tube.

Long term storage

– Run 1 gallon of water every 30 days, except in areas where there are

freezing temperatures.
