3.2. CHANGING THE BATTERY
WARNING!
Ensure you read, understand and apply safety instructions
relating to the battery before changing.
1. Undo the spotlight hood (fig.1-H) by turning it anti-clockwise.
2. Carefully lift the hood and reflector assembly. Lay the hood and glass to
one side.
3. Remove the 4 screws holding the inner plastic chassis (fig.6-1) and
carefully lift out the chassis.
4. First disconnect the black negative wire from the battery (fig.6-2).
5. Then disconnect the red positive wire from the battery (fig.6-3).
WARNING!
Beware of causing a
short circuit.
6. Carefully remove the battery.
7. Replace with genuine Sealey battery and install by reversing the
above procedure.
NOTE:
Take care not to pinch or misconnect any wires.
8. Dispose of old battery in accordance with local authority battery
regulations.
DO NOT
dispose of with regular refuse.
3.1. CHANGING THE SPOTLIGHT BULB
WARNING!
Ensure the spotlight is turned off and the lens has cooled prior
to changing the bulb.
1. Undo the spotlight hood (fig.1-H) by turning it anti-clockwise.
2. Carefully lift out the reflector assembly and lay it face down as in fig.5.
3. Remove the screw and nut (fig.5-1) that secures the black wire.
4. Remove the spring clip (fig.5-2) that holds the bulb in place and lift out
the bulb (fig.5-3).
5. Slide the insulation sleeve that covers the bulb cable connector onto the
red cable (fig.5-4). If the sleeve is fixed with ties, remove these first.
6. Undo the bulb cable connector and dispose of the old bulb and cable in
accordance with local authority regulations.
7. Hold the new bulb with a lint free cloth, (do not handle the bulb), and
install by reversing the above procedure.
8. Ensure that you slide the insulation sleeve (fig.5-4) back over the bulb
cable connector.

Environmental Protection.
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste.
All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycle centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment.
When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally protective way. Contact your local solid waste authority for
recycling information.
Battery Removal.
WARNING! Ensure the spotlight is turned off before removing the battery
