6. mAINTENANCE
WARNING! Before attempting any maintenance
ensure the unit is unplugged from the mains
power supply.
6.1.
Keep the machine clean and dry. Do not use
abrasives to clean the unit. Ensure all external
head screws are tight.
6.2.
Clean regularly by blowing a jet of compressed air
through side vents to ensure motor ventilation is
kept clear.

Wear approved safety eye
protection and, if necessary, respiratory
protection.
5. OpERATION
WARNING!

that may occur. It must be understood that common sense and caution are factors which cannot be built into this product, but must
be applied by the operator.

5.1.
Attach the backing pad. (see section 4.2.2.)
5.2.
Plug the sander into the mains power supply.
5.3.
Grip the side handle and turn on by squeezing the
trigger (fig.3.1). Pressing in the button (fig.3.2) will
hold the trigger and allow for continuous running.
5.4.
To release the switch and stop the sander, squeeze
the trigger - it will spring to the Off position.
5.5.
The speed of the sander can be adjusted using the
vari able speed dial within the trigger, turn the dial
clockwise to increase the speed or anti-clockwise to
reduce the speed (fig.4).
5.6.
Check that the unit is working correctly before use.
