Environmental Protection.

 

 

Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. 

 

 

All tools, accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycle centre and  

 

 

disposed of in a manner which is compatible with the environment.

 

 

When the product is no longer required, it must be disposed of in an environmentally  

 

 

protective way. Contact your local solid waste authority for recycling information.

Battery Removal.

 

 

NOTE!

 The lantern battery is a sealed lead-acid type. By law, it must be removed and  

 

 

recycled, or disposed of properly, according to national and/or local regulations.

 

 

Place the lantern front side down.

 

 

Remove the screws from the rear panel and lift off from the unit enclosure.

 

 

Disconnect the wires from the two battery terminals, taking care to avoid accidental  

 

 

arcing of the terminals.

 

 

Lift the battery out of the casing.

 

 

 

   

Dispose of batteries according to local authority guidelines

.
