MAINTENANCE & STORAGE

5.1 Maintenance

WARNING! Before attempting maintenance or inspection vent any pressure remaining in the hose.

5.1.1

To ensure reliable operation, clean the hose and casing regularly.  

DO NOT

spray or wet the product, but clean with a cloth and 

warm water.

DO NOT

use solvents or detergents, as these may cause permanent damage. 

5.1.2

The hose reel does not require special maintenance as it is lubricated for life. If the product needs to be opened, consult your 
nearest authorised service agent.

WARNING: DO NOT 

attempt to loosen, or remove, any casing screws yourself.

5.1.3

Replacement of the supply hose should be carried out by skilled personnel only. Consult your nearest authorised service agent.

5.2 Storage

5.2.1

Should you wish to store the air hose, ensure it is clean and dry. Place the item in a dark, safe, dry, childproof location, where the 
temperature will remain reasonably stable. 

DO NOT

store in a nylon, or plastic, bag as this will encourage condensation.

NOTE:

WARRANTY: 

Guarantee is 12 months from purchase date, proof of which will be required for any claim.

4.1.

Extending the hose.

4.1.1. As the hose is pulled out from the reel the action of the ratchet mechanism can be heard alternating between the usual clicking sound and a

short period of silence. If the tension on the hose is released whilst the ratchet is clicking the hose will remain extended. If the tension on the
hose is released during silent operation the hose will retract. To stop the hose retracting pull it out again a little until you hear the ratchet clicking.

4.2.

Retracting the hose.

4.2.1. To release the hose and allow it to automatically rewind, pull the hose out from the locked position until the clicking stops and then release 

the tension on the hose. Do not let go of the hose but keep hold of it and guide the end back to the reel.
