follow all workshop Health & safety rules, regulations, and conditions when using tool.

disconnect from air supply before changing cutting blade or servicing.

maintain air knife in good condition and replace any damaged or worn parts. use genuine parts only. unauthorised parts may be dangerous
and will invalidate the warranty.

check correct air pressure is maintained and not exceeded. We recommend 90psi.

Keep air hose away from heat, oil and sharp edges. check air hose for wear before each use and ensure that all connections are secure.

Before each use check knife blade is secure, and is not worn or damaged. if damaged, replace immediately.

ensure replacement knife blades are not damaged.

Always wear approved eye or face protection when operating the air knife.

use breathing protection in accordance with cosHH regulations if fumes or dust pose a hazard.

Wear ear defenders and safety gloves.

Keep hands and body clear of the work piece when operating the air blade.

maintain correct balance and footing. ensure the floor is not slippery and wear non-slip shoes.

secure unstable work piece with a clamp, vice or other adequate holding device.

Keep children and non essential persons away from the working area.

Avoid subjecting knife blade to excessive strain, always ease grinding bit against work piece. maintain a controlled adequate progression.

get the air knife wet or use in damp or wet locations.

hold the work piece by hand. use clamps or a vice to secure the work piece.

use the air knife for a task it is not designed to perform.

use air knife if damaged or faulty. contact your local service agent.

use air knife unless you have been instructed in its use by a qualified person.

carry the air knife by the air hose, or pull the hose from the air supply.

direct air from the air hose at yourself or others.

cut any materials containing asbestos.

turn the air knife on whilst the knife blade is in contact with the work piece.

use air knife where there are flammable liquids, solids or gases such as paint solvents, including waste wiping or cleaning rags etc
as generated sparks may be dangerous.

touch the work piece close to the cut surface as it will be very hot. Allow to cool. the work piece may also be very sharp.

operate the air knife if you are tired or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication.

When not in use disconnect from air supply and store in a safe, dry, childproof location.

Quickly and easily cuts windscreen bonding. Has safety throttle to prevent
inadvertent starting and integral regulator for speed control. leader hose
features outer sleeve, directing exhaust away from work piece and user.
supplied with offset straight blade and hex key. A wide range of optional
blades are available, greatly increasing the versatility of this knife in
garage and workshop.
