Explanations about the GSM configuration dialogue
The picture shows the GSM configuration dialogue:
You find explanations on the individual segments of the configuration dialogue in the
following table:
Segment
Parameter
SIM Card Settings
Enter the PIN code of the SIM card which is being used in the
device (see mobile communication contract or ask your provider).
Time zone
synchronization
If the device is to recognize summer and winter time
automatically, activate the checkbox
Active
.
FTP transfer
If you want the logged data to be transferred to a FTP server
daily, select the
Active
checkbox.
Daily upload time
Here you can specify at what time the measurement should be
sent to the FTP server daily ("upload"). Select a time from the
drop-down list.
Each upload includes the newly recorded measured data since
the previous upload.
If you wish a second measuring data upload every day, tick the
2nd upload
checkbox and select the desired time for this second
upload from the second drop-down menu.
Send Event List
If you select the
send Event List
checkbox, simultaneously with
the measuring data upload another file is sent to the FTP server
containing an overview about the alarm events and GSM
connection establishments of the device. These information can
then be added to the device’s ‘event list’ (see page 80).
In total, 100 entries are possible, then the oldest entries are
removed from the list and replaced with the new entries.
