3. INITIAL SETUP
Hardware
Step 1:
Before you mount the cradle in your car, test to see that your Treo 650
slides easily and snugly into the cradle.
Caution: DO NOT force your Treo 650 into the cradle!
Step 2:
Choose a place and method to mount the cradle.
Step 3:
Insert the car charger into the 12V socket in your car and connect the
other end to the cradle connector labeled “Power In” (See diagram for reference).
Caution: DO NOT connect the power cable into the “DC Out”.
Your
G2350 is now ready to go!
Step 4:
By combining your cradle/Treo 650 with GPS navigation software, the
built-in SiRF Star III GPS receiver can locate where you are and determine the
best route to your intended destination.
Make the following adjustments to your GPS software settings:
COM port: COM1 or NMEA 0183
Baud Rate: 4800
