CAUTIONS
1.
Confirm that the screws and bolts are fastened properly and tightly.
2.
For outdoor use, waterproof the screwed portion of the conduit, the cable entry fittings and the joints with the stand pole to prevent
rainwater infiltration.
3.
In the case of the stanchion type, be sure to provide a support at least 1500 mm above the bottom of the pole.
4.
When installing the fitting, be sure to connect external wires inside a specified part of the fitting.
Don’t use any other part for wire connection.
5.
Don’t open the front glass. The LED internal parts may be very hot. Don’t touch the LED light sources.
Otherwise a malfunction or lighting failure might occur.
6.
The ambient temperature should be within the range of
‐
20 to +60
℃
.
NB: Even when the ambient temperature is 60°C, the product should not be used in an environment in which there is a heat source
(heater, etc.) nearby and it may be exposed to direct heat.
7.
The supply voltage variation should be within
±
6% of the rating.
8.
Plug the entries of the terminal box which are not used.
9.
Confirm that the fitting is adequately grounded.
10.
Prior to maintenance or inspection, be sure to turn off the power.
11.
To prevent shortening of the service life, avoid turning on the fitting in direct sunlight.
12.
To avoid noise or malfunctioning, don't use a radio, television or wireless infrared remote control near the fitting.
13.
In the case of white LEDs, luminescent color and brightness may vary with individual LEDs.
Also note that they differ in terms of attenuation over time.
14.
The LED light sources and the power supply unit cannot be replaced.
15.
For use in an unfavorable location (a place in which there is strong wind, vibration or the possibility of salt damage or in a dusty or
corrosive gas atmosphere), a special countermeasure should be taken.
16.
The product should not be used in an environment in which the temperature and humidity are always high, such as a bathroom for
business or sauna.
Pass the lead from the fitting through the stand pole and insert the pole into the pole
connection box in the arrow direction.
Fix the clamp with the pan
‐

Be sure to waterproof the commercial terminal box (not supplied) and short nipple (not
supplied) and the screw on the lower part of the pole with a sealing agent.
Fix the stand pole with a pole support (not supplied) and the mounting hole of a
terminal box (not supplied) securely.
Connect the power and grounding wires inside the terminal box (not supplied) and
conduct insulation treatment on them.
Pass the lead from the lighting fitting through the flexible fitting
and attach the flexible fitting to the fitting.
Attach the other end of the flexible fitting to the terminal box.
Fix the fitting and the terminal box on the mounting surfaces
securely.
