the machine. Once you have pressed
FN + 4
, press
1
to perform automatic reset or
2
to perform
manual reset.
The former, APX 700 reads the current position of encoder and use it as relative zero:
The latter, APX 700 asks for a specific absolute position to use as new zero:
In both cases, APX 700 asks for a confirm: press
ENTER

Setting mode (cycle) selection type
Using this option (key:
FN + 5
) you can choose how to select the program (mode or cycle) active
while APX 700 is running: as mentioned in the paragraph relative to general features, it's possibile to
select the active mode during programming (the active mode is the current one), or rather by the 4
external inputs (12 Vcc power supply), offering an interactive selection of the active mode, e.g. by
contraves or Programmable Logic, etc.
Using
manual
selection, the active mode while running is the current mode in programming mode
and the only way to change it is to return in programming mode.
Using
external
selection, APX 700 controls, while running, the 4 signals M3÷M0, setting the
program (mode or cycle) to run according to the binary code read: if the code is greater than the
maximum number allowed (e.g. is APX 700 reads 1100
è
12 but we are using 16 cams, then 8
modes available only) the selection is ignored (the initial mode is the one set in programming stage).
Note. While entering value, press
ESC
at any time to abort the operation,
ENTER
(
↵
) to end value (a
single digit) or
←
to delete the last digit entered.
