4-5-1-1. LAN: OFF
If “1.LAN” is set to on, then you can connect to the Self-Guard with your computer with
the ID and the password by the network from a remote place. But, if “1.LAN” is set to
off, then you cannot connect to the Self-Guard. When you are not using the LAN, turn it
off to save the battery.
4-5-1-2. SET IP ADDR
This function sets the address for IP, GATEWAY, and SUBNET MASK. The default
values are 192 : 168 : 001 : (001) : 130 (IP), 192 : 168 : 001 : 001 (GATEWAY), and
255 : 255 : 255 : 000 (SUBNET MASK). You can change these values using the
direction buttons, and press [ENT] to save the changed values. [ ] and [ ] are for

4-5-2. WLAN SET
If you did not purchase the SG-970(Wireless-G Access Point), you do not need to read
this part.
SG-970 (Wireless-G Access Point) and SG-972 (Wireless-G USB Adaptor) should be
used for WLAN SET. Before using WLAN SET, read and follow instructions provided
with SG-970 (Wireless-G Access Point) to connect this to the Internet, and then
connect SG-972 (Wireless-G USB Adaptor) to the USB port of Self-Guard. After the
Wireless-G Access Point is connected with internet properly, you can connect to the
