7.2 Determine connection variant
7.2.1 Connection via certified inverter
For this connection variant, you only fit a power flow direction sensor (power flow direction sensor 1, yellow
network cable) directly behind the electricity supply company’s meter (seen from the mains) into the house
wiring. The SENEC.Home Li can communicate with the certified inverter. They communicate the current PV
output. A second power flow direction sensor can be omitted for this reason. All the necessary data is sup-
plied to the SENEC.Home Li by power flow direction sensor 1 and the PV inverter(s).

Output throttling in connection variants 2 and 3.
The SENEC.Home Li cannot communicate with the PV inverter in the case
of connection variants 2 and 3. It is only possible to configure output
throttling on the inverter itself. Use the manufacturer‘s declaration
issued by the PV inverter manufacturer to demonstrate effective
output
throttling.
