REMOTE FIRMWARE UPDATE
20.1.
Remote firmware update by Ethernet connection (FTP Server activated)
For update the remote RTU firmware with the ethernet connection and ftp server you must:
1)
Ensure that a microSD card is inserted into the Z-Logger/Z-GPRS2
2)
Setup the project settings window for create all the configuration and the program:

Create the new configuration with SEAL, save the configuration that must be used with the new
firmware to a file.
4)
Press Generate from the menu Build
5)
Go to the new configuration directory then rename the .out file to “fwupdt.tag”
6)
Copy to the RTU FTP server the file “fwupdt.tag” to the root of the RTU FTP server.
7)
Copy to the RTU FTP server the file “fwupdt.bin” firmware file to the root of the RTU FTP server.
8)
Now the RTU will update the firmware and then will use the new configuration.
9)
Wait for the Email “configuration updated”

activated)
For update the remote RTU firmware with the ethernet connection and modbus tcp-ip server you must:
1)
Ensure that a microSD card is inserted into the Z-Logger/Z-GPRS2
2)
Setup the project settings window for create all the configuration and the program:
