LOCAL CONFIGURATION UPDATE
21.1.
Local configuration update by SD card
For changing a configuration you can download it with SEAL or prepare a sd card with the new
configuration file.
For use a SD card for update the configuration proceed as follows:
1.
Copy the file called “setup.tag” containing the firmware to a microSD card, the file must be copied
to the main microSD folder.
2.
Turn the device OFF
3.
Insert the microSD card in the slot
4.
Power ON the device
5.
The configuration is updated and the device will reboot.

REMOTE CONFIGURATION UPDATE
22.1.
Remote configuration update by Ethernet connection (FTP Server
enabled)
For changing the remote RTU actual SEAL configuration/program using the Ethernet connection you
must:
1)
Setup the project settings window for create all the configuration and the program:
2)
Create the new configuration with SEAL, save the configuration to a file.
3)
Press Generate from the menu Build
4)
Go to the new configuration directory then rename the .out file to “setup.tag”
