We  recommend  using  shielded  cables  for  signal  connections;  the  shield  must  be 
connected  to  a

  instrument

  earth  connection.  We  also  recommend  never  positioning 

these  wires  near  power  cables  such  as  those  for  inverters,  motors, or induction ovens, 
etc.
