Safety Precautions and Basic Troubleshooting
13.1.
Safety Precautions
Keep the device away from dampness, heat and direct sunlight.
Avoid crashing, dropping, twisting or bending the device.
Do not clean the device with solvents or alcohol.
It is recommended to charge the battery for over 5 hours to ensure longer operating time.
13.2.
Basic Troubleshooting
If the device does not operate properly in some instances, press and hold the Power On/Off
button for 8 seconds to reset the device.
If resetting the device does not work, the problem may have been caused by a program
crash. Reinitialise the unit with the appropriate drivers is likely to fix the problem. You can
contact your dealer for assistance.
If the device does not work after re-initialisation, follow the below procedures to reformat it.
1)
Connect the unit to the computer using the USB cable that was supplied with the device.
2)
Navigate to the Desktop and open Computer and then select Removable Disk (matching
the device).
3)
Press the Application key, Down Arrow to Format and press the OK key, ensure that
FAT32 is selected for the file system.
4)
Select the Start button. Once the process is completed, a confirmation message will be
presented. After formatting, the device must be reinitialised as described previously.
Contact your dealer if the device still does not work after all these efforts.
