USAGE
Dry Level Selection:
If you would like your laundry dried at the end of a washing programme, press the Dry Level
button
(see page 19) to select the level you require:
Drying Level
Symbols
Description
Level 1.
Recommended for laundry which will be ironed before using.
Level 2.
Recommended for laundry which requires hanging up.
Level 3.
Recommended for laundry which will be folded and put away.
If you continue pressing the Dry Level button, drying durations (
) are
displayed.
If one of the above drying level symbols is not displayed when you press the Dry Level button, it
is not available for the selected programme.
To cancel a drying with duration function, press the Dry Level button until the screen displays no
drying symbols or durations.
Temperature Selection:
It can often be difficult to know which temperature setting is best. To help with this, we have
provided a table with common temperatures and their typical uses.

Cold water. Used for rinsing.

This is the lowest wash temperature that
we recommend. By using a detergent that
can work at this temperature, you’ll save on
water and electricity bills.

This is the most common wash temperature,
suitable for most everyday items.

This is suitable for most polyester/cotton
mixtures and nylon.
60

C
This higher temperature is recommended for
heavily soiled garments such as baby clothes
or bed linen and towels.
90

C
This is the hottest temperature available on
your Washer Dryer and is suitable for white
cottons and linen that show dirt.
Please be aware that the programme setting provides the default temperature for the selected
programme. You can override this setting by pressing the
Water Temperature Adjustment button
(see page 19) repeatedly until the required temperature is displayed. See the programme tables
for the available temperatures for each programme.
