∙ Caution: Keep any packaging materials
well away from children, as such
materials are a potential source of
danger e.g. from suffocation.
∙ Every time the appliance is used, the
main body including the power cord as
well as any attachment fitted should

Should the appliance, for instance, have
been dropped onto a hard surface, or if
excessive force has been used to pull
the power cord, it must no longer be
used: even invisible damage may have

Intended use
∙ The appliance must only be used for
making waffle-french-fries.
∙ Any use other than that described in
these instructions must be considered
improper and may lead to personal
injury or material damage.
Before using for the first time
∙ Wipe the plates with a damp cloth and
dry thoroughly afterwards.
∙ The appliance should be preheated for
15 minutes with the lids closed. This will
remove the smell typically encountered
when first switching on the waffle iron.
∙ Adequate ventilation should be ensured
by opening windows or balcony doors.
∙ Clean the appliance afterwards as
described in Cleaning and care.
∙ For reasons of hygiene, discard the
first waffle portion produced when the
appliance is new.
∙ Let the appliance cool down.
∙ Then clean the plates as described in
Cleaning and care.
