Using the DBG60 Keypad

The keypad can store a backup of the MOVIDRIVE
®
B. If desired, this backup can be used to
duplicate the drive setup across multiple units.
Step 1
Press the
MENUS
button.
Step 2
Press the
MOVE UP
/
MOVE DOWN
buttons until
COPY TO DBG
appears.
Press the
CONFIRM
button.
The keypad will perform a backup.
We’ll use this backup later on to restore the MOVIDRIVE
®
B to its original state.
Factory resetting the drive and performing a quick startup in V/f mode is yet another task that
the keypad can do. More sophisticated startups should be done through MOVITOOLS
®
.
Step 1
Press the
MOVE UP
/
MOVE DOWN
buttons until
PARAMETER MODE
appears.
Press the
CONFIRM
button.
Step 2
Key in
802
and press the
CONFIRM
button to access the
Factory setting
parameter.
Step 3
Press the
MOVE UP
button until
DELIVERY COND
.
appears.
Press the
CONFIRM
button to factory reset the MOVIDRIVE
®
B.
Step 4
Wait for the MOVIDRIVE
®
B to reset and the keypad to initialize.
Step 5
Press the
MENUS
button.
Step 6
Press the
MOVE DOWN
button until
STARTUP
appears.
Press the
CONFIRM
button.
The startup process involves setting a series of parameters. You
’ll work your way through the
parameter list by pressing the
MOVE UP
button. If the parameter doesn’t need to be changed,
just press
MOVE UP
again to go to the next.
If you
do
need to change a parameter, press the
CONFIRM
button. If there are a number of
choices, you can use the
MOVE UP
/
MOVE DOWN
buttons to select among them. Pressing the
CONFIRM
button accepts the change.
If a parameter requires a numeric value, key it in with the number pad and then press the
CONFIRM
button. Finally, press the
SWITCH
button followed by the
MOVE UP
button to advance to
the next parameter.
