4.1

Requirements

4.1.1

General information

The  project  planning  of  a  MOVITRANS

®

  system  calls  for  specified  knowledge  ex-

plained in this documentation.

The following information is based on the general guidelines that apply to project plan-
ning. This documentation is drawn up for users that are familiar with and have basic
knowledge of drive project planning.

4.1.2

PC and software

The  "Multi-point  synchronization"  function  is  part  of  the  unit  firmware.  You  will  need
the SEW‑EURODRIVE software MOVITOOLS® MotionStudio for configuring the sup-
ply units.

4.1.3

Permitted operating modes

In the "Multi-point synchronization" mode, the supply units continue to operate in their
individually set operating modes.
