SSM – Safe Speed Monitoring
The SSM function monitors whether the drive exceeds a specified speed. An exceed-
ing of the allowed speed is signaled.

SDI – Safe Direction
The SDI function prevents movement in an unintended direction. If this condition is vi-
olated, the drive safety function will be triggered and an error response will be initiated
at the same time (usually STO or SS1).
