Description of the DIP switches
6.3.1
Information
NOTICE
Hazard caused by unsuitable tools.
Damage to the DIP switches.
• To set the DIP switches use only suitable tools, such as a slotted screwdriver
with a blade width smaller than 3 mm.
• The force used for setting the DIP switches must not exceed 5 N.
INFORMATION
For information about the position of DIP switch S10, refer to the "EBOX" chapter.
For information about the position of DIP switches S1, S2, and S3, refer to the
"ABOX" chapter.

DIP switch S1
Bus terminating resistor for PROFIBUS
• DIP switch S1 = OFF: Bus terminating resistor is
not
active.
• DIP switch S1 = ON: Bus terminating resistor is active.
