Power supply
5.3.1
Options
There are various power supply options available for the
Master
:

Disposable batteries (x4)
●
NiMH rechargeable batteries (x4)
●
External, using mains or vehicle battery
Note:
The
Master
does not include an integral battery charger.
Switch off the device when not in use to prolong the life of the
batteries.
5.3.2
Special features of rechargeable batteries
A
CAUTION! Risk of burning
Unsuitable rechargeable batteries can overheat in the
event of a short circuit.

Use SEWERIN rechargeable batteries.
●
You can use other rechargeable batteries provided they
fulfil the requirements of standard EN 60950-1.
Rechargeable batteries must be removed from the device for
recharging and charged in an external charger.
5.3.3
Changing the battery
A 2.5 mm Allen key (supplied) is required to open the battery
compartment on the back of the device.
1. Loosen the two screws securing the battery compartment.
Remove the screws by repeatedly turning them alternately a
short way; this ensures that the cover does not jam.
2. Lift off the cover.
