Steps for Cleaning
Important Points
1. Observe Routine Practices, including hand hygiene,
and use proper body mechanics
Use alcohol based hand sanitizer
2. Don Medical Gloves
Gloves must be clean, durable, chemical
and tear resistant.
3. Remove P-100 cartridges by turning them counter-
clockwise and gently pulling them away from the
mask
4. Set the P-100 Low Profile cartridges aside
Cartridges should only be discarded if they
are grossly contaminated, damaged, or
causing noticeably increased breathing
resistance (e.g. causing discomfort to the
wearer)
