Electric safety rules
●
The mains voltage must correspond to the voltage indicated on the label (230V/50Hz). Do not use
other sources.
●
It is recommended to use a circuit breaker for the 10-30 mA supply line. Consult a reliable
electrician.
●
Never run the mower over the extension cord to which it is attached, as it may interrupt it. You must
always know where the cable is.
●
Use a separate cable holder to connect the extension cable.
●
Never use the mower in the rain. The machine should never moisten or be exposed to moisture. Do
not leave the mower overnight. Do not wet or wet grass.
●
Always check the power cable regularly and always make sure it is not damaged or old before
plugging in. If the cable is not in good condition, do not use the mower. Take it to an authorized service
center.
●
Use only an extension cord that complies with the valid electrotechnical standards valid in the Czech
Republic and the EU. Keep it out of the chopping area, wet, wet, or oil-contaminated places, out of
contact with sharp edges, high temperatures and fuel.
●
According to the DIN 57282 and DIN VDE 0282 standards, the extension cable socket must be
splashproof, the cross-section of the conductor max. 75 m must be at least 1.5mm². This mower is
designed with double insulation according to the EEC 20 regulations. Double insulation is electrically
safer and the mower therefore does not need grounding.
Assembly the cover (Figure A)
Insert the cover (1) into the carrier and secure the mower with the attached screw (2).
WARNING: Watch out for the string when doing this. Danger of injury!
Never use the mower without a cover. It is important for the safety of your and others and for good
working performance of the mower. Failure to comply with these safety rules is not only dangerous,
but leads to the cancellation of the terms of the warranty.
Start
When using the lawn mower for the first time, make sure that the nylon strut touches the blade or
passes through it. The nylon strings are automatically cut when the switch switches to the maximum
length. If the required lengths do not reach, adjust the length as described in the replacement chapter.
Press the knob and put the mower into operation without a load, then the string length is automatically
adjusted. Move the tool closer to the lawn to be cut. Lose the long grass with a few small shots. Never
rub grass that is very damp. The string must be protected from premature wear which causes severe
obstructions; Hold the mower away from the hard surface and use the edge of the cover as a
protection. A short or worn string reduces cutting power. To restore the optimum string length, push the
tool down. The correct length is then automatically set (Figure B).
ATTENTION! The efficiency of a short or worn string is lower. If the traffic is to be improved,
disconnect the power supply and repeat the procedure described at the beginning of this chapter.
Then you will be sure that everything works as well as you can get to know the mower.
ATTENTION! After switching off, the nylon cord rotates for a few seconds.
Coil Replacement (Figure C)
●
Pull out the socket.
●
Turn the machine so that the cover faces upwards.
●
Hold the engine fan (1) and the second coil holder (2) with one hand firmly. Push the coil holder fan
downward on both sides and pull it out of the engine fan.
●
Remove the empty spool (3) and carefully clean the inside of the spool holder, remove any residual
soil and grass.
●
Insert a new spool into the engine fan and pull the end of the cable through the side holes on the
engine fan.
●
Push the coil bracket and fasten it.
●
Re-adjust the length of the nylon string by pressing the spool holder head and pull the end of the
string to the desired length (approx. 15 cm).
ATTENTION! Under no circumstances should you put a new string on the empty spool, replace it with
a new one, the same as the original one. Using a string with features other than the original may
permanently damage the mower and also lead to the cancellation of warranty conditions.
