Instructions for use 
Read the safety rules carefully and follow the instructions below to ensure the mower is performing 
best. 
Begin slowly. Once you have the experience, you can use the mower to the fullest. 
Run a string. mower before you reach the lawn that you have to mow. 

●

 Grass the mower by moving the mower from right to left and slowly continue while holding the 

mower inclined to approx. 30 ° (Figure D). 

●

 High grass must be cut by layers, always starting at the top. The sections should be short (Figure 

D). 

●

 Do not wait for wet or wet grass! Excellent results are achieved with dry grass. 

●

 Always let the string spin at the highest speed. Do not work to strain the mower. 

●

 Caution! Do not use the mower without a cover. 

●

 Never transport the mower over the extension cable while it is running; make sure it is always safely 

behind you. 

●

 Before working, make sure that no debris, wires, and other foreign objects are on the surface to be 

cut. 
 
Maintenance 
Before performing any kind of maintenance, unplug the power by removing the plug from the 
extension cable. 

●

 Regular cleaning and maintenance of the mower will ensure your machine performance and long 

service life. 

●

 After each mowing, remove grass and soil from the spool and groove, clean the entire mower, 

especially the cover. 

●

 Ensure that the air slots are clean and there is no grass in operation. 

●

 Only use a rag soaked in hot water and a soft brush to clean the mower. 

●

 Do not spray or dander on the appliance. 

●

 Do not use detergents or solvents that could damage the mower. Plastic parts could easily destroy 

chemicals. 

●

 If the cord is no longer torn or jammed, have it replaced by an authorized service center. 

ATTENTION! The string can cause deep cuts. 

●

 Use an Authorized Service Center to perform repairs that are not explained in these instructions. 

 
Troubleshooting 
ATTENTION! Disconnect the power supply before each operation. 

●

 If the mower is shaking, remove the spool and carefully clean the slot and remove the grass and the 

like. If the vibration continues after reassembly, insert a new spool. If the problem does not disappear, 
have the mower checked at an authorized Sharks Service Center. 

●

 If the mower does not start, check all electrical connections, make sure that the circuit breaker is not 

switched off; check fuses in the system. If the mower is not used after these checks, have it checked 
by an authorized workshop. 
 
Storage 
When storing the mower, follow these recommendations: 

●

 Clean the mower and all auxiliary parts thoroughly (see Maintenance Article) to prevent mold 

formation. 

●

 Keep children out of the reach of children in a safe, dry place where the temperature does not reach 

extreme temperatures. 

●

 Store the mower out of direct sunlight if it is in a dark or low-lighted place. 

●

 Do not leave the mower leaning on the floor. Hang it over the top handle so that the cover does not 

touch anything. If this cover rests on the surface of an object, it may alter its shape and dimensions, 
thereby altering the security features.
