Free repair warranty
1. If malfunctions occur even though you have operated following
notes on the instruction manual during the warranty period, the
handset will be repaired without charge. (The handset may be
exchanged for a substitute in lieu of repairs.)
2. Even during the warranty period, the following cases may not be
covered by the free repair warranty.
(1) Malfunctions or damages caused by modification (including
software modification).
(2) Malfunctions or damages caused by the broken handset,
display, external connection jack, etc. being dropped or
pressed from the exterior, or the broken or deformed internal
circuit board.
(3) Malfunctions or damages caused by fires, pollution,
abnormal voltage, earthquakes, thunder, storms, floods or
other natural disasters.
(4) Malfunctions or damages caused by devices and
consumable products other than those specified by
DOCOMO that are connected to the handset.
(5) Malfunctions or damages caused by allowing water to get
inside the handset, when the seal of detecting water
responds, the trace such as submergence/water exposure is
found or a corrosion resulted from condensation is found.
(6) If the handset has been repaired at a repair counter other
than those specified by DOCOMO.
3. This warranty is valid only in Japan.
4. This warranty is liable for the free repair subject to the
mentioned period and condition, therefore it does not restrict
your legal authority.
5. If there are several faulty parts, we repair the whole part of the
handset before returning to customers because the product
quality of partial repair is not guaranteed. This case may not be
covered by the free repair warranty.
6. Regardless of whether the handset has been repaired or not,
the handset whose operation has tested is updated to up-to-
date status before returning to customers.
7. For repair parts or date if repair has carried out, check the repair
result you received when its repair is completed.

If you have problems with your handset
Refer to “Troubleshooting” on this manual before requesting repairs.
Contact the number listed in “Repairs” (in Japanese only) on the
last page if problems persist.
If your handset needs repairs after contacting
DOCOMO
Bring your handset to a repair counter that DOCOMO specifies.
However, repair counters are only open during business hours.
Note that it may take several days to repair depending on the
condition on the malfunctions.
After the warranty period has expired
Charged repairs will be carried out upon request.
