Warranty Statement
Limited warranty
SHARP provides “Product Warranty Statement”, at the time of its original purchase,
from the SHARP or its authorized distributor, describing the product warranty service.
Notes: SHARP does not provide global cross border warranty. This limited warranty
(free of defects in materials and workmanship causing malfunction and defective)
shall last for twelve (12) months for the device, including the battery in non-removable
type; and six (6) months for the battery in removable type from the purchase date.
Other than battery, the in-box Accessories (if available), limited to cables, earphone
and power transformer, six (6) months warranty period is provided. The customer
shall present the PROOF OF PURCHASE upon claiming the warranty.
Throughout the warranty period SHARP or its authorized agent will, at own discretion
and subject to section Non-Warranty below repair or replace a defective product. All
replaced defective parts or components will become the property of SHARP after
returning the repaired/replaced product in good working condition. This repair on the
same symptom beyond the warranty period or caused by misuse, three (3) months
warranty period is provided.
European Union Regulatory Conformance
The equipment complies with the RF Exposure Requirement 1999/519/EC, Council
Recommendation of 12 July 1999 on the limitation of exposure of the general public to
electromagnetic fields (0–300 GHz). This equipment meets the following conformance
standards: EN50360, EN62209-1/-2, EN50566, EN62311, EN62479, EN60950-1,
EN50332-2, EN301489-01/-3/-17/-19/-52, EN55032, EN55020, EN301511,
EN301908-1/-2/-13, EN300328, EN301893, EN300330, EN300440, EN303413.
This device have been tested to comply with the Sound Pressure Level requirement
laid down in the applicable EN 50332-1 and/or EN 50332-2 standards. Permanent
hearing loss may occur if earphones or headphones are used at high volume for
prolonged periods of time.
Prevention of Hearing Loss
Warning statement requirement under EN 60950-1:2006+A2:2013.
To prevent hearing damage, do not listen at high volume levels for
long periods.
Changes or modifications to this product not authorized by the manufacturer could
void the EMC compliance and negate your authority to operate the product. This
product has demonstrated EMC compliance under conditions that included the use of
