MATH, STAT, and PRGM Menu Keys
By using the
M
,
S
, and
P
keys, you can access many menu items for
complex calculation tasks. The appendix “List of Menu/Sub-menu Items” shows the
contents of each, with detailed descriptions of each sub-menu item.
Example
Round the following number beyond the decimal point: 34.567
1. Press

. The MATH menu takes
over the screen, as shown to
the right. MATH menu items
are displayed on the left side
of the screen.
2. Use the

and
}
keys to move the cursor up and down
the menu. As you scroll, you will see the corresponding sub-
menu contents (shown on the right side of the screen) change.
3. Set the cursor at
B NUM.
Menu items can also be selected by using shortcut keys (
A
through
H
); in this example, simply press
B
to select
B NUM. There is no need to use
A
for this operation.
4. Press a shortcut key

to select
2 round(. The
screen now goes back to the
calculation screen, as follows:
Another way of selecting the
sub-menu item is to press

B NUM. The cursor will be extended into the sub-menu on the
right. Now, move the cursor on the sub-menu down to
