Perform either of the following steps depending on whether you are
running Windows 95 or 98.
In Windows 95:
When the Insert Disk dialog box appears, click OK. (Note: If the
Update Device Driver Wizard box initially appeared, click Next and
then Finish in the subsequent screens until the Insert Disk dialog box
appears. Click OK.)
When the Copying Files... dialog box appears, enter the letter of your
CD-ROM drive followed by a colon in the Copy files from: box. For
example, if the letter of your CD-ROM drive is "E", enter "E:" (do not
enter the quotation marks). Click OK and installation will begin.
In Windows 98:
Click Next in Add New Hardware Wizard.
Make sure Search for the best driver for your device is selected, then
click Next.
Select CD-ROM drive and click Next.
When "Colour MFP" appears in Add New Hardware Wizard, make
sure that Location of driver is the file "WIN95.INF" in the root
directory of your CD-ROM drive, and then click Next.
Click Finish in the Add Printer Wizard dialog box.
Important!
After the files are copied, the Add New Hardware Wizard dialog box
will appear again, followed immediately by the Change Cartridge
window (the Change Cartridge window may cover the Add New
Hardware Wizard dialog box). Be sure to click Finish in the Add
New Hardware Wizard dialog box before selecting the cartridge
type in the Change Cartridge window.

The Change Cartridge dialog box appears. If you have already
installed a print cartridge, simply click Old Black Cartridge Installed
or Old Colour Cartridge Installed. (Note: Do not click Cancel.)

If you have yet to install a print cartridge, follow Steps 2 through 6
in Installing a Print Cartridge, and then click New Black
Cartridge Installed or New Colour Cartridge Installed. The
Colour MFP will print a test sheet for print cartridge alignment.
Select the number of the the straightest line on the test sheet and
then click OK.
