Copying Paper Documents
Introduction
The Copy application of your Color Multifunction Interface
system utilizes your Sharp MFP to provide all the functions of a full-
featured, collating, reducing/enlarging personal copier. Copies
scanned and printed using your Sharp MFP are collated, black and
white or colour copies.
Functions
Use your multifunction device to make collated copies
Reduces and enlarges from 50% - 150%
Adjusts the intensity of a copy to compensate for a dark or
light background
Background operation to permit the personal computer to be
used for other tasks, while the copying operation is in progress
Accessing the Copy application
To access the Copy feature, select the Copy icon from the Sharp
Colour Multifunction Interface screen. The Copy application auto-
matically defaults to the most common entries. If these settings are
satisfactory and your Sharp MFP is powered on, then you are ready
to make copies.
Copying a Document
Ensure that your Sharp MFP is plugged in.
Change any of the Copy settings if necessary. (See Copy
Settings later in this chapter for more details.)
Enter the number of copies you want to make in the Copies field.
Load the document you want to copy face down in the feeder of
the Sharp MFP.
To change printers, select the Printer button and make your
selection from the drop down list.
Click the Start button and the Sharp MFP will begin scanning
and printing your copies.
