Copying Paper Documents
Custom enables you to choose reduction or magnification of
the original document from 50% reduction to 150% enlarge-
ment. To use the custom scaling, click the Custom option,
and select either the left or right scrollbar arrow to change
the reduction/enlargement size. The reduction/enlargement
amount is displayed in the box below the Custom option.
Set the Intensity
In the Intensity group, select the Intensity you want to use to
copy your image.
To adjust the intensity of a copy with a light background, you
can compensate by selecting Dark.
If the background does not need to be adjusted, select
Normal.
To adjust the intensity of a copy with a dark background, you
can compensate by selecting the Light option.
Optimize
The Copy application includes a feature that enables you to
optimize your copy according to the type of original you are
copying.
Select Monochrome for copying letters or line drawings.
Select Grayscale for black and white photographs, newspa-
per clippings, and documents with many shades of gray.
Select Full Colour to copy color photographs or other colour
documents
Number of Copies
Enter the number of copies to be made in the Copy field or use
the up and down scroll arrows to navigate to the number of copies
you want.
