Scanning Documents
To adjust all three colours (red, green, blue) in one setting,
push in the RGB button at the top of the dialog box (Color:
RGB will display). Then, enter the gamma adjust level you
desire (between 0.1 and 9.99) in the Gamma field at the
bottom of the dialog box.
To adjust all three colours (red, green, blue) separately, turn
off the RGB button at the top of the dialog box (Color: Red
will display). Then, go to the bottom of the dialog box and in
the Gamma field, enter the gamma adjust level you desire
(between 0.1 and 9.99) for the colour red. Click the button
to select the next colour, and again return to the Gamma field
to enter the desired level. Repeat for the remaining colour.
To save your Gamma Adjust settings:
Select the Save button. The Save As dialog box opens,
permitting you to save your personalized settings.
To load already-defined Gamma Adjust settings:
Select the Load button. The Open dialog box appears,
permitting you to load the existing .GMA settings file.
Image Adjust
The Image Adjust control permits you to manipulate the scan-
ning Brightness/Contrast, and for monochrome scanning,
permits you to set the Monochrome Contrast.
Brightness/Contrast setting:
Select Image Adjust and choose Brightness/Contrast from
the cascading menu. The Set Imaging Levels dialog box
opens.
