Fax/Image E-mail application
Night Delivery option on the Fax/Image E-mail screen. Night Delivery
settings are established from the Setup icon located on the lower left side
of your Sharp Colour Multifunction Interface software screen.
Insert the documents to be faxed face down into the feeder of the Sharp
Colour MFP. Press the Scan And Send button to begin the scanning
process. Each page of the document will be scanned and then faxed to
the recipient you specify. When scanning is complete, the fax message
is sent automatically. (Note: To send an existing file as a fax, refer
to the "Sending existing files as fax or e-mail" later in this chapter.)
Note: If you attempt faxing while a print job is in progress, or
attempt a print job while faxing is in progress, the initial job
may be interrupted. Also, running an application (such as
Viewer) that requires a large amount of memory and CPU power
may interrupt a fax job in progress.
Sending a Cover Page Only fax
Address your fax as described above, making certain that the Cover
Page check box is selected.
Enter your message in the Message field.
Select the Send button to transmit the message as a Cover Page
only fax.
Sending a Quick Fax
From the Fax/Image E-mail screen, you can send a Quick Fax to stand-
alone fax machines and to personal computers with fax/receive capa-
bilities. A Quick Fax does not route the fax through your PC, instead,
it is sent directly from your multifunction device and a record of the fax
is not maintained. Complete the following steps to send a Quick Fax.
Insert the documents to be faxed face down into the feeder of the
Sharp Colour MFP.
Select the Quick Fax button on the Fax/Image E-mail screen and the
Quick Fax dialog box appears.
