Sharp Message Center
The Inbox allows you to receive faxes in the background, without
degrading the responsiveness of your system and provides for
electronic filing and indexing of all received facsimiles. If you forget
where you filed a document, you may use the Find feature within
your Windows 95 or 98 system.
Optional scaling of facsimiles to the printer’s paper length and width is
available. Long facsimiles are converted to multiple-page facsimiles,
making certain that no information is lost.
Viewing the Inbox
When the Message Center application is launched, the Inbox is
automatically opened. To view the Inbox window, click any place in
the Inbox window within the Message Center to make Inbox the
active window. If the Inbox is minimized to an icon within the
Message Center window, double click on the Inbox icon to activate
the window. You may also select Window from the Message
Center menu bar and click on Inbox. Inbox will become the active
window in the Message Center.
The Status Bar located at the bottom of the Message Center
window provides information regarding the number of queued faxes
and the number of new faxes received in the Inbox. If a fax is
received, the Status Bar will inform you of the number of new faxes
in your Message Center Inbox. The text on the Status Bar that
reads Inbox: "x" new items will appear green if a new fax is
received. If there are "0" new items, the text will be black. If the
Message Center is in the minimized icon mode, the Fax Manager
icon will blink if a new fax is received, if the Inbox or Outbox is
paused, or if fax transmission has been unsuccessful.
The Inbox enables you to view, print, save or delete incoming faxes.
