Viewing your Fax Outbox
The Message Center must be active to be able to queue faxes to the
Outbox and to send faxes from your system. The Outbox can only
be closed by exiting the Message Center. The Outbox will send
faxes when running in the minimized (icon) mode in the Message
Center window.
The Status Bar, located at the bottom of the Message Center
window, provides information regarding the number of queued faxes
in the Outbox. The Status Bar text Outbox: "x" items will be
green if there are queued faxes and black if no faxes are pending.
If the Message Center window is minimized to an icon, the icon will
blink if a fax transmission has been unsuccessful or if the Inbox or
Outbox is paused.
Pausing and Resuming Your Outbox
You may pause your fax transmissions after the current fax transac-
tion is completed. The faxing process will be paused after the
current fax transmission is completed. The phone line will be
released so that it can be used to receive faxes or phone messages.
To pause your Outbox:
From the Outbox window, select Pause Outbox from either the
File menu or from the System menu, or select the Pause
Outbox check box on the Toolbar. Your Outbox will no longer
transmit faxes in it's queue.
To resume your Outbox:
From the Outbox window select, Pause Outbox again from
either the File menu or from the System menu, or deselect the
Pause Outbox check box on the Toolbar. Your Outbox will
now begin transmitting queued faxes.
Cancelling Fax Transmissions
You can cancel the current fax transmission by selecting Cancel
from the File menu or the Cancel button on the Toolbar. The
