Viewing the Outbox Activity Log
To view the Outbox Activity Log window, click any place in the
Outbox Activity Log window within the Message Center to make it
the active window. If the Outbox Activity Log is minimized to an
icon within the Message Center window, double click on the icon to
activate the window. You may also select Window from the Mes-
sage Center menu bar and click on Outbox Activity Log. The
activity log will become the active window in the Message Center.
The Outbox Activity Log Window
The Outbox Activity Log maintains a history of all facsimiles
sent to the Message Center Outbox for transmission. The log is
updated every time a facsimile is canceled, sent successfully or
sent unsuccessfully.
The Outbox Activity Log displays the following:
Date and time the facsimile was queued to the Outbox by
the user.
The fax destination’s phone number.
The status of the entry.
The following status messages are recorded:
Sent OK - The facsimile was successfully sent.
Canceled - The fax was canceled by the sender.
No answer - The called facsimile machine did not answer
after the specified number of rings on the last transmission
attempt and the specified number of retries have been
completed.
Fax Error - An error was encountered during the last
facsimile transmission and the specified number of retries
were completed. Some pages may have been sent.
Open Error - The facsimile message was damaged and the
Fax Outbox was unable to fax it.
No Dialtone - No dialtone was detected by the Fax
Outbox and the fax was not sent.
