Address Book
In the Phone or Fax group, select the number you are entering
(i.e. Business, Home, etc.) from the drop down list.
Enter the area code, phone number and extension (if applicable)
in the appropriate fields for each group. An area code must be
entered for each record, even if it is a local call.
From the Country Code drop down list, enter the appropriate
country code. The default is United States of America (1).
If you do not know the Country Code, select
to view the
drop down list of available country codes. Make your selection
from this list, and the correct code will be entered in the Country
Code field. You cannot add to or delete from this list.
Repeat the above procedure for each phone/fax number you enter.
Once these phone/fax numbers are established, you need only select
the “type” of phone/fax number (i.e. Home, Business, Business fax,
etc.) from the drop down list on any of the other tabs, and your
system will automatically dial the corresponding number. If you are
changing an existing number, select the appropriate phone or fax
number from the drop down list, enter the new number, and save the
record. This new number will now correspond to the selected phone
or fax number when dialled from any tab or for a transaction initiated
from the Fax/Image E-mail application.
You may dial a voice phone number or send a fax directly from this
tab by selecting the appropriate phone number and pressing the
DIAL or FAX button. (Note: If a phone or fax number for the
selection is not available, the corresponding button will not be
active. Refer to the on-line Help system within your Address
Book application for additional information.)
E-mail Tab
This tab enables you to add or edit e-mail account information for a
new or existing Address Book entry. You may enter separate e-mail
accounts for home and business. The file format for image attach-
ments is also selected on this tab.
